Stacking the Shelves (hosted by Tynga’s Reviews) is a weekly meme in which bloggers share the books they buy, borrow, and receive.
Won:
This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales
Relativity by Cristin Bishara
The Art of Wishing by Lindsay Ribar
I’m so stoked to have won all three of these books. They’re all books I’ve been eyeing pretty hard, so it’s nice to have my own copies. And TSWSYL came with a playlist. Yay! I haven’t listened to it yet, but I’ve seen other people saying it’s good. I’m excited to listen to that as well.
Borrowed:
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell – I was super excited to be the first person to get this book from the library, but (sigh!) I think I might turn it back in for now because I don’t have time to read it. Maybe I can get it again in a month or two. Either way I’m excited to read it. I’ve heard SO many great things. And, I mean, come on. I’m totally a fangirl too.
Faery Tales & Nightmares by Melissa Marr
Gifted:
Chasing Forever Down by Nikki Godwin – After I participated in the tour for American Girl on Saturn I got an email offering me a copy of one of Godwin’s earlier books. It’s about surfers, guys. How could I say no?
The other day my mother asked me when I became such a “narcissistic clean thing”. (Question caused by my “sudden analness” about things being clean.) Neither of us really understood/stand what a narcissistic clean thing is, but we had a good laugh anyway.
The holidays are so near and I can definitely feel it. I feel like I should string Christmas lights around my room or something. I’m super excited for the holidays this year. Not so much seeing family and all that bullshit, but the corny books and movies? And just the general feeling of warmth? I’m definitely all for that.
